2: En ville - Places in my town

Early Start French 2: CONTENTS | HOME

What you will learn in section 2

In this section pupils learn how to identify key places that can be found in both French and British towns. It is the starting point for beginning to be able to describe where you live, ask directions and give information about where places are.

Looking around a French town in the video, you will see different shops and other places that children might go to. You hear how to say what some common places around the town are called in French - and how to ask what a places is.

Here are some examples:

This is the village bakery --- and the local railway station....

Buying cheese at a market stall ----- and looking at the glass collection in the local museum/.
